In
the early ‘90’s I would begin jewelry-making;
first crafting accessories from clay, then gradually
incorporating other materials – wire, semi-precious
stones, antique finds and trinkets, etc. Fashioning
jewelry for editorials, advertisements, museums, specialty
shops and celebrities, the hobby would quickly become
a passion, then a profession. The jewelry line would
become the life-line of my existence; its creation so
all-consuming that I would forget about painting altogether…. |
